Training Bras and Blow Jobs

What is your child learning in school? Hopefully, more than whatever 14-year-old Amber is learning.

Yesterday, the social networking world went bonkers with the leakage of a "sex tape" of a 14-year old middle school girl. In the tape, the girl is behind a school building on her knees. There are three boys in the video: the receiver, the witness/secret director and another witness.

While I only peeped about 3 seconds of the tape, I was appalled. On twitter, the young girl tried defending her actions by stating that she has no substantial role models besides Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Lil' Kim and Trina.. Parents, this should be a wake up call and an obvious cry for help.

The radio is not a substitute for home training and nurturing! Communicate with your children. All the radio is going to tell them is to fuck bitches and get money. If rappers put the idea in little boys' heads that they aren't the bitches, who do you think gets fucked? Your daughters.

Kids are gonna be kids, but as a parent, you must try as best as you can to provide an outlet for your children to express themselves. It may sound cliché, but talk to your children about sex, STDs, the importance of self-esteem and an education. When I was growing up, my mom was squeamish about talking to me about sex, but my dad was straightforward about it. I'm no saint, and I wish I would have saved my virginity for a later date or marriage, but I'm glad that my parents have always instilled in me a great sense of self-responsibility and self-esteem. Just the small gesture of my mom calling me her “angel” and my dad calling me his “queen,” I know that I'm worth more than just a notch on someone's belt.

Maybe Amber's parents didn't have the time to provide this service to their daughter, but I really hope the leakage of her sex tape taught some of the future parents that their children deserve more than a musical babysitter. Hug your children and let them know that they aren't “goons,” “bitches,” “something Rozays,” “barbies,” or whatever the radio is telling them they should be. They are, at the very least, human beings who deserve respect.

Love Always,
Phoenix

  1. Hopefully it is an eye opener, It almost scares me to have children in this screwed up society.

  2. Yeah, I feel the same way. I feel for my future children, in a way.
