Question of the Day

If a pastor was living a life of luxury, does that make his devotion to God less believable?

Answers:
  • "I really don't know. It should go by how they flaunt it or not All I can think about is the scripture saying it's hard for the rich to get into heaven."
  • "Of course not! God blesses its children n specially if they r serving him!"
  • "Yes, because Jesus didnt live a lavish life on earth, he is remembered as a champion of the poor and downtrodden. He was against earthly riches, the riches he spoke of were in the kingdom of heaven. Alot of these pimp-daddy preachers and televangelists are the OPPOSITE of what Jesus taught (note: Kenneth Copeland, Juanita Bynum, Eddie Long, Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes, etc)."
  • "U KNOW I UNDERSTAND GIVING MONEY TO THE CHURCH BUT TO HELP OUT ON BILLS LIGHTS,AC,RENT FOR THE BUILDING ETC.. BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE PASTOR DIPS INTO THE MONEY FOR HIS OWN POCKET IF UR A CHILD OF GOD U SHOULDNT B DOIN IT FOR THE MONEY LOOK AT THERE MILLION DOLLAR HOUSES AND FANCY CARS COME ON WHERE DO U THINK THAT MONEY IS COMING FROM RIGHT OUT THE COLLECTION PLATE THAT THEY PASS AROUND FOR THE (CHURCH) NEXT TIME UR AT CHURCH AND THE PLATE IS BEING PASSED AROUND LOOK AT THE PASTOR AND WATCH HIM LICK HIS LIPS IN GREED."
